Joseph Horwitz
Executive Director
Joseph has been working in healthcare for over 12 years. He was raised by his Grandparents and Great Aunt & Uncle. His Grandfather lived in our community over 20 years ago and his Great Uncle more recently. Prior to healthcare, Joseph was an accountant and financial advisor before pursuing his passion for working with seniors where he had been able to leverage his business background. It is the best of both worlds.
Joseph lives in Moorestown with his two daughters, and two dogs. The dogs, Cookie & Fozzie, love coming to Summit Place every day, spending time with, and entertaining our residents.
In Joseph’s free time, he can be found volunteering, golfing, boating, or competing in triathlons.
JoAnn (Jodi) Lucidonio
Director of Celebrations
Jodi started her health care journey when she was a caregiver/companion at her home. In 2016 her family moved her mother to Summit Place and while she was there, Jodi got to know all the employees and residents. During this time, she would volunteer to help with activities, and this led to Jodi becoming a member of the Summit Place Leadership team as the Director of Celebrations. Jodi has been married for 30 years to her husband and they have a daughter.
JoAnn truly enjoys helping and listening to our residents and knowing that she can put a smile on their faces every day. “I am truly blessed to be their Director of Celebrations”.
Dorothy Dilger RN, BSN
Director of Health and Wellness
Dorothy has been a Registered Nurse for 27 years. Most of her nursing career was spent in the Intensive Care Unit. It was during those years that she was able to develop and utilize critical thinking and prioritization skills which then led to her to healthcare management. Dotti has been married for 24 years to her husband Chris and has 2 children, Chloe 16, and Luke 14, that keep her busy when not working.
Dotti found her true calling 3 years ago when she began her assisted living journey. Dorothy’s motto is happy, healthy & safe. “Being a part of my resident's journey puts a smile on my face every day”.
Thomas Hemple
Director of Facilities
Tom has worked in construction/maintenance for over 30 years. He holds and associate degree in architectural engineering and is a Master Carpenter. Tom enjoys working in healthcare, always has 1 goal, to keep the residents safe and happy. Tom has been married for 23 years this May and has 2 sons. He’s been a youth sports coach and administrator for 32 years and loved watching his sons play baseball. When not at the Summit Place, you can find him coaching the community kids baseball team.
Wendy M. Pritchett
Executive Chef
Wendy has been a caterer for 20+ years in the Glassboro, NJ area. When she started at Summit Place in 2012 as a housekeeper, she knew she wanted to bring her passion of cooking to the community. After 3 years, Wendy became the Assistant Chef, working closely with the Executive Chef, at the time, and learning Assisted Living Dining and processes. Now, for the past 8 years, Wendy has been the Executive Chef for Summit Place and provides remarkable dining to all the residents the community serves.
Wendy enjoys cooking for her friends and her church! When she is not creating specials at the community, she is a grandmother to 2 amazing grandchildren and is helping raise them. “I enjoy making the residents happy and full.”
